Village Enhancement Projects

Victoria Hall Regeneration

Culmore Tourism & Craft  Collective  identified the potential of the vacant and derelict Victoria Hall and was successful in its application to DAERA for regeneration eligibility funding  in 2017.  To secure the funding and a successful outcome a collaborative approach  between Culmore Tourism & Craft Collective, Culmore Community Partnership and Greater Shantallow Area Partnership was established.

In the absence of any community facilities in the rural border village the regeneration is welcomed by the community.

Culmore Pop-up Craft Shop

In 2019 we trialled a Christmas pop-up shop to great success, and we are keen to continue this initiative with a goal to establishing a permanent base for local creators to sell their products.

Bus Shelters

On an ongoing basis, Culmore Tourism & Craft Collective think of the weather and support the community by ensuring there are adequate bus shelters available.
